Restaurant Essofra

After reading all the good reviews me and my friend went there for dinner. It is a big restaurant with enough space and nicely decorated. What I noticed straight away was that there were almost only tourists, including us of course. The food was not bad but disappointing to us. During our 2 weeks in Tunisia the food was flavorful with strong spices. In this case the food tasted very bland and was nothing special. The prices for the individual dishes are also quite high. As I said, the food wasn't bad, but there are much better restaurants for the price range.

If i could give more than 5 stars, i would. This restaurant is a gem in Tunisia. The decoration, ambience, level of service, the taste of the food, authenticity... Pick whichever is your expectation, and you will find it in this restaurant. NB: I am writing this comment at the restaurant, even before paying. Edit after payment: it is even good at price/performance level.🫠

I just had dinner with my husband, the food here was amazingggg! 🥰 also the waiter was really nice, and funny i forgot the named. so yea it’s recommended! 👌

We always go in our vacation. It's a must. Amazing traditional Tunisian ambient, food and service.

Zweifellos der beste Service und das beste Essen, das ich in einem tunesischen Restaurant erlebt habe. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und man kam meiner vegetarischen Freundin sehr entgegen. Der Kellner war so nett und man merkte, dass er nur wollte, dass Sie gutes Essen genießen, und das haben wir auf jeden Fall getan. Die Atmosphäre war auch so toll, sehr entspannt. Lassen Sie sich dieses Restaurant nicht entgehen, es ist so fantastisch.
