A true gem near the beach of Djerba, serving delicious and fresh seafood with some nice Tunisian contours. Also french fries were very crisp and well done. I enjoyed the service and the desserts offered in the end.
The restaurant is small and simple, with most of the seating directly on the beach. The decoration is the sea and the bay—completely natural and picturesque.
We were a group of four and each ordered a mixed dish of fish and prawns. The menu is simple, focusing on fish, prawns, or a mix of both. The grilled fish was excellent, and the prawns were perfectly cooked and delicious.
The only downside was the Tunisian salad, which was too spicy for our taste. It seems Tunisian cuisine often includes spicy oil, which might not suit everyone.
The small biscuits served at the end were a delightful surprise—not too sweet and very enjoyable.
Overall, it was a very pleasant lunch at an excellent price—just €60 for the four of us.
After the meal, we took a walk along the beach, which offered magnificent scenery and was the perfect way to end the experience.
Classic and classy, Uncle Ali's is well worth the trip - even if you're on the other side of the island. No menu - just a choice of sea bream, sea bass or shrimp. Paired with two salads and a pile of perfectly crispy fries and an unparalleled ocean view, it just doesn't get better than this.
10/10! The grilled fish and the grilled prawns were simply divine. The side dishes went very well with it and everything was perfectly seasoned.
The free starter and Tunisian salad were also very tasty.
There are plenty of tables both outside and inside. But to enjoy a delicious dinner just a few metres from the sea was just amazing. The service was also great and friendly.
The prices here are higher than other restaurants in Tunisia, where we ate very good fish. Nevertheless, I can only recommend the this place!
