They had no fillet steak so had the ribeye. This would have been a 2 but the pepper sauce was nice and the staff friendly. Not a place to go back to and was pricey considering we spent half as much for fillet steak at chou chou just up the road, so choose that instead.
In the heart of Djerba, where the breeze carries the scent of the sea and time seems to slow down, there is a place called "Les Palmiers – Chez Naji et Catherine."
But to call it just a restaurant wouldn’t do it justice — it’s a feeling, a memory, a gentle embrace in the shape of a meal.
Every time I step inside, I feel like I’m returning home.
Naji cooks not only with skill, but with heart — and Catherine’s warmth fills the space like sunlight through the palms.
They don’t just serve food. They serve care, joy, and a sense of belonging.
Naji cooks until I’m full — full not only with food, but with gratitude, nostalgia, and something deeply comforting.
At Les Palmiers, taste becomes memory.
The couscous, the fresh bread — everything is rich, flavorful, and made with soul.
Each dish is a quiet story told with spices and love.
"Les Palmiers – Chez Naji et Catherine" is more than a place to eat.
It is a table of stories, of smiles, of heart.
You leave with a full stomach — yes — but also with a full heart.
And somehow, you always want to come back.
Horrible horrible service, I can't stress this enough, the food was acceptable but long waiting times and when the food eventually came, the plates were as empty as it gets, usually when you order any sort of meat ( fish, stake, merguez ... ) it should come with sides such as rice or a bit of spaghetti, that doesn't exist here and that's completely unjustified when you take into account the prices. Don't come to this place ...
Edit: we got a good price reduction when we complained, they aplogoized as well ...
