Ristorante Essofra

After reading all the good reviews me and my friend went there for dinner. It is a big restaurant with enough space and nicely decorated. What I noticed straight away was that there were almost only tourists, including us of course. The food was not bad but disappointing to us. During our 2 weeks in Tunisia the food was flavorful with strong spices. In this case the food tasted very bland and was nothing special. The prices for the individual dishes are also quite high. As I said, the food wasn't bad, but there are much better restaurants for the price range.

If i could give more than 5 stars, i would. This restaurant is a gem in Tunisia. The decoration, ambience, level of service, the taste of the food, authenticity... Pick whichever is your expectation, and you will find it in this restaurant. NB: I am writing this comment at the restaurant, even before paying. Edit after payment: it is even good at price/performance level.🫠

I just had dinner with my husband, the food here was amazingggg! 🥰 also the waiter was really nice, and funny i forgot the named. so yea it’s recommended! 👌

Senza dubbio il miglior servizio e cibo che abbia mai visto in un ristorante tunisino. Il cibo era incredibilmente delizioso e sono stati molto accomodanti con la mia ragazza vegetariana. Il cameriere era così gentile e puoi dire che tutto ciò che voleva era che tu potessi goderti del buon cibo e sicuramente lo abbiamo fatto. Anche l'atmosfera era fantastica, molto rilassata. Non saltare questo ristorante è così fantastico.
