Great experience! I super recommend it to everyone. Dar Foulla is really nice... the rooms and the common space are just like the photographs or even more beautiful. It was also very clean. It's near the historic center of the ville and the persones who are in charge of it are so kind. They helped me with a lot of things and thanks to them I could resolved some inconvenients of my trip. I am happy and greatful!

Perfect place in Djerba, everything is new and clean. You have all the necessities and can reach the centre by walking or taking a cab, which is only ~€0,6. The hosts are the biggest plus, super friendly and helpful with all inquiries. If you need any help renting a bike/car/anything or planning a trip they’ll go above and beyond to help you! Definitely worth a stay!

Superb accommodation, very practical when you are a small group to meet up during the day or evening by the pool or to cook together. The rooms were well individualized and with a theme for each. Superb and authentic decoration. Great welcome from our host, he even kindly gave us a ride back when we walked back from the city center (20-25min). We will come back.

Great experience, the hosts are of great help and very good advice, you can trust them. They will save you from many pitfalls and are very responsive with messages. The rooms are new and functional, a little noisy but the comfort allows you to have a very good night's sleep. Many thanks and see you soon!

It was the worst experience of my life. And it’s a shame because the place is very pretty and with a lot of potential. Arriving at 1 p.m. for check-in, we find all the doors either wide open or with the key in the locks (accessible to anyone). We returned and saw that all the open rooms were very very dirty or looked like they had just been vacated by guests, we called the manager who told us that he would arrive after an hour. We sat in the gazebo which had a tablecloth full of sand and dust, the swimming pool was poorly maintained with a carpet half in it, the sofas were full of sand and dust and everything gave the impression of not being cleaned for weeks. The manager arrives and we ask him that the room he had reserved for us be cleaned, which he seems to do on his own. He tells us that the cleaning ladies clean every day even though this place had obviously not been cleaned for weeks. The manager also told us that probably someone had slept there since he left the doors open or with the key in the locks (we were in shock but we tried to respect other people's traditions or procedures). We were asked to pay and we paid in euros and since he had no change, we paid more than expected. When we returned in the evening, all that was done was a change of sheets but only the mattress topper (but we have our doubts about that too). There was no sheet between the cover and the mattress topper. There were no pillowcases and they smelled bad. The next day we discovered that the shower had mold everywhere and there were ants in the room. That's not all. There was no electricity anywhere. We call the manager who arrives after 15 minutes. He calls the electrician and they spend 45 minutes trying to get the electricity to work. In the meantime other guests arrive and I ask for a refund which is ignored, the manager asking me with a gesture to be quiet or to lower my voice so as not to be heard by the others, I didn't really understand but exhausted I return to the room. Finally the electricity comes back and we try to go to bed. Except that apparently during Ramadan the work is done at night and a window on the bed overlooking a street where there was work, we could hear loud and clear all the noises and conversations (that's not the fault to the structure but to tell you that the room straight after the entrance has a window onto an outside street and that there are lots of noises). The work ends at midnight and when we thought that it couldn't get worse, the air conditioning started to flash and make continuous 'beeps'. She stops. It starts again at 2 a.m. except this time it doesn't stop and my boyfriend goes to turn off the electricity everywhere. We sent a message to the manager who told us that we had done the right thing and who apologized, saying that he would come the next day to reimburse us for the electrical outage and the inconvenience caused. The next day at 9:30 a.m. we asked him what time he would come by and at 11:15 a.m. we still had no answer and we had to leave.
